Hmmm... well, we all know how fussy Ol' Tink is about her seafood. Did it taste fresh?

Hmmmm...how to say this...I would say it worked better as a whole than in pieces? Does that make sense?

The "parts" were tasty all put together, but individually they were just...typical. Now, I will also be utterly honest and say that since moving to the east coast, I have become quite fussy about my seafood as well and honestly have come to the conclusion that good seafood should NEVER be fried.

Having said all that, it really was quite a nice sandwich and I would have it again, I just understand what I'm getting.

Yep, I'm beyond fussy about fried. I'll eat it, but boy it'd better be perfectly done. :sorry:

Not often though. I far prefer broiled, boiled or steamed... or grilled. :D

Exactly. Love grilled seafood....

They did have some other very yummy looking, non table service sounding, menu items...tandoori chicken, Mongolian beef stir fry...

Yes it was good but as a whole sandwich. The crab cake itself was not very good by itself. But I also think that perhaps the crab was not 100% real either. But as a whole it was interesting and good.

They did have lots of good choices. They had the make your own pasta bar, make your own burger and make your own salad choices too.

Alright, I guess I am not that fussy! I will eat just about anything that is fried:sorry: but that looks pretty darn good!! Thanks for sharing. Kind of neat that each resort tries to focus their meals around the resort theme. Case in point, the (oh my gosh I am going to try and spell it) beignets at PORFQ and the cool African themed breakfasts we had at the counter service place at AKR. Guess the seafood goes with Little Mermaid Theme.

It is very cool!! Funny story about themed food...we chatted with a CM at AoA and he showed us this lovely binder full of photos and concept art of all the new areas. In the Nemo section, the bathroom is done in a "submarineesque" decor with a large shark shower curtain and a bathroom mirror shaped like a porthole. In the photo, the mirror shows to read, "Fish are friends..." (in the upper right) and "not food!" (in the lower left). He went on to tell us that during development they eliminated the "not food!" part when they realized they served fish in the food court ;-) seriously, they think of everything.

Yeah guess they better be on their game...serving seafood and all.
