View Full Version : The Mermaid Package Returns to Pirates League at Adventureland, Magic Kingdom

Last year The Pirates League in Adventureland introduced The Mermaid Package, but it was only for a limited period to coincide with release of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”

The package was very popular and and due to public pressure Disney are again offering this enchanting package at The Pirates League which begins today, Monday 19th March.

The new Mermaid Package is slightly different from last year and includes a luminous make up transformation that evokes the iridescent and vibrant colors of the ocean, a shimmering makeup palette, a mermaid-inspired hairstyle complete with color-changing hairclip, sparkling face gems, trendy teal nail polish, a special Mermaid Pirates League sash and a color changing necklace to finalize your transformation.

We did the pirate one for Steven and they have about 8 chairs in the room - about half had adults in them getting a makeover. I won't spoil it for you with details of what went on in that room but you have to do it. Possibly the funniest hour and a bit I had in a long time.:thumbsup:

cool! do you have to decide whether you want to be a pirate or mermaid before you go? and is it 180 days out?

When I called to book Steven in they asked me what package we wanted to do so yes you have to choose in advance.

I'd go for pirate. :D

When we did it, we just walked up and asked if there was any room, we were the only ones in there for quite a while, that was for a Captain Jack Sparrow makeover.

I"ll see what the boss (Caitlin) thinks and do you think we should do it for MVMCP or another day? maybe when we go to the Castle for dinner?
