our 11.30am ferry has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions on the Irish sea (it's always pretty rough) - they'll make a decision on the 18.30 one later in the day. We should be leaving right about now :(

we're all wide awake here so we're going to set off in about an hour or so and see whether they've reached a decision by the time we get there, it may be possible to get on the 14.30 slow ferry (cabins are a must :sick007:) and failing that we'll have to find a B&B for tonight!


so, once again i'll bid you all a farewell and go to get dressed! :wave:

just a quick update! we got to Fishguard at 10am and were transferred to the 2.30pm slow ferry, there were no lounge seats (which we'd paid a premium fare for) or cabins available - i was a bit peed off as i was worried about being seasick and didn't want the discomfort of doing it in the public loos as i know how yukky they get and i do NOT like public toilets!

anyway eventually they found did have a cabin available so that made me happy! more in my trip report when i get home, but it was a good job we had the cabin as it was a very rough crossing and we were all really ill - it was awful but we're here now ad enjoying our first relaxing day!
