First day in Orlando. First meal and I have broken a tooth. Rang insurance and they say only covered for 250 pounds.
Will this get me much dental work here?

Oh no. Are you in pain? I broke a tooth a couple of years ago on a piece of candy. Luckily no pain involved. I have no idea how much dental work costs as I have dental coverage and it can still be quite pricey.

I just did a google search and there are several emergency dentists in Orlando. Good luck!

I would think that 250 should be sufficient to fix a chipped tooth.

It is a pre molar tooth with a silver filling up the middle. The front of the tooth has snapped off so all you can see is the filling from the centre. Lots of unsmiling photos coming up!

Not wanting to frighten you to death Issy, but I had a dental bill for around $1,000 when I had problems out there a few years ago.
Fortunately my cc travel insurance paid up promptly after my return home.

If the filling itself is intact you might be better waiting until you get home as I doubt that 250 will cover you, unless of course they can just patch it up. When I went to the emergency doctor it cost me 150 just for the appointment which lasted 10 mins.
