Hi,

I recall that few people suggested a good place to go for a 'proper' coffee in Epcot (I think there is a place near Mexico or Japan?)

I am wondering of anyone here could let me know where it is in Epcot and what about Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studio?

I dont know inside the parks, but Kona Cafe at the Poly has wonderful coffee!

Also, I think Starbucks is opening soon :)

There are little kiosks in EPCOT. One is at the crossover by the shops (crossover from Future World to the World Showcase) and one is between Italy and the US. There is another between the UK and Canada. All are able to make a good cup of coffee.

You can get coffee at nearly all the counter service places too, but that will be the standard WDW type coffee. Either you like it or you don't!

There is a coffee stand at the boardwalk, also.

You didn't ask about AK, but there is one as you enter, and one at the beginning of the Oasis. The stand is across from the tamarin habitat.

Thank Tink. Stephen quite like the coffee at WDW and I'm not too keen :-(

We love that little cafe especially with the cheeky birds! However I'm not too keen on their coffee. I think they use bog standard coffee

Admittedly I've never had the coffee, I don't drink it, I just like the place :)

Fair enough we like it there, nice place to chill out for a short while. We always enjoy watching birds coming in as if they own the place!

I can highly recommend this location for a great cup of coffee.

Is that Starring Rolls in HS Jeff? If so,no, they grind their own on the premises and it is great coffee. You can see the machine at work as you enter. Another good spot for decent coffee in HS is Writer's Stop, and of course you have to have one of the best sweet eats in WDW there - the carrot cake cookie. Kona Cafe serves probably the best I have tasted but we also like Kusafiri's coffee in AK.

We always used to stop by a shop near the fountain in Epcot. Used to have great coffees, lattes etc to go with baked goods. Think it is now an ice cream place.:sorry:

As long as I have gone there Jeff it has been the case. I hate instant coffee with a passion and the one thing I did before going to WDW was to check out where I could get proper coffee. Both Starring Rolls and Writer's Stop always appeared as providers of freshly ground coffee.
Below is just one of the delicious cup cakes/brownies you can get there

That great! For some reason I thought it was an instant coffee

On one of our first trips to WDW it was the Christmas season. They had Douwe Egbert's at all the resorts. Now it is that blasted Nescafé.

Not keen on instant myself. I am wondering if Coronado Springs Resort does ground or instant?

It is now an ice cream place and I was distraught when that happened. :cry1: I loved to get a latte and sit and people watch by the fountain.

I usually stop now at the place by The American Adventure - nice frozen cappucino.

Yes! That was the place Dawn..oh what was it called? I was just thinking the same thing. What a great start to a day at Epcot. We would stop and get a baked good and latte and sit by the fountain and just look at all the happy faces (well for the most part...there were some glum faces too...what is WRONG with them?)

If I remember rightly they do the real thing at the Pepper Market and Maya Grill. Of course there is the coffee maker in the room as well and mousekeeping are quite good about leaving some extra coffee if asked. I left a note asking for extra decaff and got it whenever I wanted it.
