I've told people here and there but I have given my 2 weeks notice and an leaving my current job. I start work with a private workers comp company on Sept 17th. Two of my friends work there and love it. I'm very excited! I'll be making the same money but less hours :-)
I'm also starting a part time in home mental health position as well.

I'm a firm believer that you must do what brings you enjoyment since we spend most of our time at work. There is no reason to go to work miserable everyday. (Even if it's not the job, but the people you work with).

Thank you! Sadly (or maybe not) I loved my job. I love helping people. Passive aggressive bosses, lazy support staff and an unwillingness to help counselors is what led me to find a new job. I couldn't take that anymore. I hope I have the guts to tell them why I'm leaving. Oh and that they did not care at all when my client died suddenly and unexpectedly in Feb :-(
