Less than 2 weeks and I'll be dropping Dan off at halls. I'm in a kind of numb panic if that makes sense! So much to do, so bloomin expensive too!

The best advice I was given by a friend just before I started university was to ensure that my PIES (Physical Intelligent Emotional Social) was in balance.

18 years olds have balance? LOL

I'm sure it will be the best years of his life and that's what i'm worried about LOL. I am happy for him, it just seems to have crept up on me. Will have to concentrate on my trip when i get back LOL

we've booked a night away near him for Jon's birthday in early October - so that will be 3 weeks after. We'll take him out and feed him and stock up on Pasta and noodles LOL

They will be the best years of his life and they certainly were the best of mine. It sure is expensive. Three of mine have done it and the last one is in his third year. Good luck to your son and no tears. :hug2:

I will live in my bubble where I refuse to believe things like the kids going away to college even exists! If you need me, you know where I am :D

:hug2: seems to go way too fast, doesn't it?

He will be fine of course, it's you that will be the hot mess ;-) distractions will indeed be helpful! As will remembering what a great son you raised. ;-)
