Thanks Becca, awesome work. OBTW what is the theme of the pool area?

The "Big Blue" - very Finding Nemo inspired...right down to the landscaping!

I saw The Little Mermaid building but didn't make my way around that far...the Lion King section looks super cool, too!

One thing I found interesting that I didn't realize they'd changed was that all the rooms are now interior entrances. Definitely adds a bit of a more "upscale" look...

Also, the pool is keyed entry, there is a gate all the way around and you have to swipe your key to get in.

One final (probably not) thing I noticed was that this resort does NOT have the "smart soda" machines.

Oh, know what the food court DOES HAVE, though?? The "build your own pasta" in the food court like PO has that I enjoy so much!

Hahaha not if Jon has anything to say about it! He thinks it's ridiculous what they're charging given (and I quote) they are "really" just recycled Pop rooms...but I may "surprise" him ;-)

So is it a brand new resort or did they take one of the All Stars and remodel it? Never stayed at them and only got to their property on the Magical Express rides back to the airport.

They were originally built as part of Pop Century - slated to be the earlier years (20's, 30's etc) but then the economy fell apart and they just sat....and sat....empty and desolate. And then once the economy started moving again I think they began rethinking it an changed directions altogether.

Well glad they are being used! Looks pretty cool. For some weird reason I think the Radiator Springs would be a cool place to stay.
