Disney has announced a new limited time discount for the Wild Africa Trek. The new discount allows guests to take the tour for a discounted rate if they go slightly later in the day. This is a truly unique tour that takes guests through the savanna from Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction.

For tours from now through 25th August 2012, guests can save $50 on tours that begin at 11:45am or later.

there are hand rails made of rope and the bridge is wobbly, but you're attached to a rope at the top so if all else fails you'll be dangling and they can winch you in...am i selling it to you?

Well the crocs wouldnt make me nervous.. the height would

I was invited to come see the REAL snakes at one of the everglade places once and we got to a point where the only way was across a really really thin rope ladder :/ but it was worth it to handle some of the snakes

i like to watch snakes but i wouldn't handle one! it's funny how different people are scared of different things.

I really do want to do this tour though and overcome my fear of heights. How much is the price usually?

I only like the poisonous ones though, I don't care about pythons or any of the boring harmless ones

I think it's about $180 each and that's for a 3-hour guided safari tour, tasting of African-inspired foods and professional photo CD.

I think I'd consider it with the discount although I think Jon would like to do it
