If I do this how long before the flight should I be at the airport the next morning?

Depends if you want to spend time in duty free ;)

We did the twilight check in a few weeks ago. Our flight was at 1pm the day after but we stayed at a local hotel so we just rocked up about 9 am, traipsed through security, had some breakfast at Frankie and Benny's, wandered around the shops, had a coffee and before we knew it, it was time to head to the gate.

Always a great start to the holiday!

You have to arrive 50 mins before your flight.

Twilight check in
You can grab some extra sleep before an early flight thanks to our Twilight check in service. Available at Gatwick between noon and 9pm the day before you fly. Please note that everyone in your party will need to be present with their documentation for this option. Then turn up 50 minutes before boarding the next day with your boarding pass. It's that easy.

thanks, i'm not bothered about duty free, don't wear perfume and don't think the booze is much cheaper. So if we rock up at 10am for an 11.45am flight we should have plenty of time then?

That was what I was thinking but I think I'd prefer to stay in the hotel room as long as possible. I don't eat or drink much before the flight anyway so a lounge is probably a waste

Yup! Flying BA

Oooohhh I really like Jamie Oliver's vegetarian breakfast at north terminal. Gutted that they didn't have it at south terminal.
