It's actually been a lovely day! Nice weather, interesting sights and good food! We took the Circle Line Downtown Tour today and it was really cool!

Oh yes! We've eaten at Del Posto twice now and quite enjoyed it both times. He also opened a little place in Westport (where I work) called Tarry Lodge. Very nice as well...

I'd like to try Babbo, although Lydia and Mario in combination have to be incredible.

The last photo has a rather funny story behind it...We arrived back at the South Street Seaport from our hour-long cruise, and I was in full "tourist mode" saying, "Oh look!! It's the FDNY and the NYPD AND the Coast Guard all in one place!!! Let's take a photo!!" and then a tick later, "UM...WHAT are the FDNY, the NYPD and the Coast Guard ALL doing in on place??"

Yeah. The pier was on fire. We did get a few extra moments on the yacht though...and free drinks!

Holy cow!!! Not a good thing! (The fire I mean).

We once walked from 34th st. (nearly right across from the Gardens) to South St. Seaport. :D Yeah, we LOVE NY!!!
