Going for the Magnum PI but will probably come across more Ned Flanders

Ok. Here it is. But this is all you get!

13557.vB

Ratty looking. Innit?

Tom (:macwave:... had it since I was 20. It hasn't aged well.)

Skywatcher

Lovely Tom but the rules state you must be clean shaven on the 1st and culture and grow the tache for teh duration whilst acting like a gentleman ;)

I think its a very clever idea and the journey the charity has taken over the last few years has been astonishing

Men are notoriously rubbish at looking after their health in this area in particular

and anything that gets people talking about it is only a good thing - IMO the talking is more important than the money raised

Not a lot that I've seen TBH. In fact, I had to go look it up to see what it was when you first brought it up. :sigh:

Tom (:macwave:... I guess it's a secret over here.)

Not just over there Tom, it's the same where I live and I had to ask Keith what it was

I've looked and the only thing I can find where I live is the Post Office are doing it because it's the charity they are supporting this year, other than that nothing at all.

Britchick
07-11-2012, 05:22 PM
Jon did it the last 2 years but not this year, he has a multi coloured tash when he grows it LOL

Today's mo tivational shot. Can't give you the full effect in picture form as I am worried it would cause feelings of inadequacy amongst men and pregnancy in the ladies xx

If you want to spend a few pennies drop me a pm.

Also if you are interested re the pregnancy thing

Slowly but surely it's growing in...you're turning into a real man (my one and only Pinnocchio joke).

My father has always had one. It's just him.

Day 5 tache today and everyone is commenting and giggling , good that I have this massive self esteem thing going on.

On a more important note 200 pounds raised in a day :). That's what it's all about.

Me and some angry birds xxhttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/11/10/etunu3aq.jpg

You look like I'd imagine a head master to look (in that last photo). :D

Skywatcher
13-11-2012, 04:12 PM
Its actually pretty tough, wouldn't do it through choice and much respect to the men who choose this. Its burning all the time at the moment and I could gladly tear my upper lip clean off.

Its also weird not recognising yourself in the mirror and also if you are self concious everybody looks and makes comments

Still its getting people talking and getting people booking for checks so it can only be a good thing

However come midnight on the 30'th I will be lathered up.

Anyone who can spare a few pennies just send me a PM and I'll send you the link to the MO Space page :D

Finally getting to shave it off.

Raised 623. Which considering the area I work in the current climate and the time of year isn't bad at all.

Cannot wait to be rid

AHHHH!! I missed the whole month!! But I've enjoyed catching up quickly (rather like waiting til the end of the season and watching all of my Dexter episodes at once!).

I personally think it looked GREAT, especially there at the end...what did Lisa think!?!

Andrew also participated, he raised $500! And now refuses to shave it off. He looks so old, though!
