Now that we own a villa on Orlando, I doubt whether we will be staying at many WDW resorts in the future [apart from the GF which is like home from home to us for a few days each time we visit].
The only other resorts that we have stayed at are OKW and WL, apart from VB on a couple of occasions.

I've only stayed at the Polynesian, I'd always wanted to stay there and was really disappointed with it when I did, it didn't live up to my expectations :shrug:

I think the polynesian was the most disappointing. Once outside the lovely lobby, the rooms were very normal and unremarkable for the cost.

All star movies though the cheapest provided such wonderful memories and atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The wilderness lodge will always be my fave :yes:

My fave for theming is animal kingdom lodge. For location is the contemporary

The most disappointing for me too was the Polynesian, it was before the refurb and there was a smell of sewerage in the room.

We stayed after the refurb and the smell of sewerage was one of our biggest complaints, not that anyone listened :shrug:

We had the same problem with thm not giving a monkeys it was a concierge lake view room too!

Actually loved them all for different reasons and wouldn't hesitate to stay at any again.

AKL is our home DVC resort so that is special for that reason and the fact that it is such a fantastic resort and so much to do without even leaving there!

Boardwalk we loved too because it is a complete contrast to AKL and it's location is perfect, I love the buzzy atmosphere in the evening when it is all lit up as well :yes:

I too felt disappointed by the Poly, could never justify what it costs to stay there with what you get!

We've only stayed at the animal kingdom lodge and loved it.
We are possibly staying on resort next year via my mum and dad's DVC, I think it's at Saratoga springs :confused:

I have only been lucky enough to stay on-site twice, and both times were at the Contemporary. I thought it was completely lovely, and really, really enjoyed it.

Going to the Art of Animation next, which I have high hopes for.

Would also love to stay at the Polynesian, the Dolphin, Port Orleans, and All-Star Movies. My husband and my mom are both dying to stay at GF.

So sad to hear so many bad experiences at the Polynesian! But I'd still really love to stay there. I've always thought it was gorgeous, and always heart really high praise for the restaurants. We went to the luau, but that's about it.
