Woohoo well quite a different type of trip to the usual Disney one this time. A conference at Caesars palace Las Vegas

Been 12 years since I've last been

Not looking forward to the lonnnnng flight but at least it's direct from Manchester

Here at the service air lounge at Manchester. Staff more helpful than at escape but none of the lounges have much in the way of food :( not even toast at this one

Have a great time :hug2: hope you get to relax as well as work.

I am so jealous, Caesars is a lovely hotel. It's a bit strange having to walk through the casino to get to the hotel but then they are all like that.

All the lounges at Manchester are a bit rubbish, the VA lounge at Gatwick is brilliant they make the best bacon rolls

By now I'm sure you are winging your way to Las Vegas. Have a great time. Hope the conference doesn't eat up all your time.

I guess that you are on your way by now Keith, but have a fantastic trip.

Is that photo in the "bubble"? [It seems like a very long bubble if it is.]

Wendy

The bubble is for his May trip Terry, he's at the back of the plane on this one :D

Chris said the picture was enough to give him nightmares

You know actually it was better there in economy than on the a330 in premium economy. There was more room for sure

Upper class is a different matter of course but premium has very little to recommend it at the moment IMHO (which is grrrrr since all the other flights this year are pe)

So yeah long long flight but actually ok at the back other than last off and a very long slow queue at immigration and at customs

The hotel is of course amazing and the buffet we did last night was amazing

Glad you had a good flight, it is horribly long I know.

It was truly superb yep and loved the view

Talk about different to Orlando though. Don't think we ve seen one child since we got on the plane at Manchester. Very very different experience

Yep they are few and far between its a lovely experience  in all fairness there isn't really anything for them to do and mid week it is conference city. At the weekends hotel rooms etc are more expensive and you will probably see more children as the locals come to play.

So jealous, me and hubby have said that we will go for my 40th, which isn't for another 5 years but at that point the kids will be old enough to stay at home,

Sounds like you are having fun. What did you think of the Venetian, it's very pretty with the canal.

The show sounds great :)

keith

Yeah Venetian pretty and the show was awesome. We were given fake little lighters which lit up so we could all hold them up during the rock ballads. Everyone was singing and dancing. Truly excellent evening
