At disney restaurants is it ok to order one meal and share it? sometimes theyre too large for one person especially when watching our portion sizes
Absolutely. We do it all the time. If you are at a buffet or Victoria and Albert's then you will not be able to share, of course but any other restaurant is very able to accomodate your request.
Often we order "for the table" and then request two small plates for ourselves. For instance at Chefs du France (the ground floor full service restaurant in France at the World Showcase) we order the nicoise salade, the charcuterie plate, and the cheese plate "pour le table" and then have two small plates to fill from each of the serving plates.
The portion sizes are large enough for two. Double check for sharing charges. Most places do not have them, but some will slip them in so be sure to ask if you want to be positive.
Counter service meals can be shared too, of course. Or, you can order a child's meal for an adult.
