This is such a shame, we were all looking forward to it :(

Entertainment Weekly’s early look at the new Harry Potter movie just a got a whole lot earlier. In a last-minute move, Warner Bros. has just announced that the studio is pulling Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from its fall lineup and rescheduled it for July 17, 2009.

I must be one of a few people that have never liked the Harry Potter films :shrug: I tried to read the first book, but just couldn't get into it :o

It's the same date for the UK. :( Eldest DD is not a happy bunny.

I'm with you Wendy. I did read my way through them (at the time I was bored) but for the last one. Not my favorite. :shrug: Hate to say that because they are so wildly popular, but they didn't really ever capture my imagination the way they have for so many other folks. :sigh;

I read the first one and didn't get it. I do have a copy of all the books and one day I may read them all in order. Hopefully, I will see what the fuss is.

I haven't watched the movies either. I typically like the book better than the movie version.

This is such disappointing news. I was really looking forward to it :( So annoying that WB released the trailer not long ago and now they've decided to pull the movie :rolleyes008:

It was due out on my birthday Keith, 21st November.

I am totally gutted about this, the only saving grace is that there should be less time between this and the last two films now

:mad:

I'm confused...Rick and I went to see a movie a couple of days ago, and one of the trailers was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince coming November 2008 .... someone needs to get it together! :lol:
