We will be visiting the week before Thanksgiving for 9 days/8 nights. I have a 6 day Magic Your Way ticket. We will do the Hoop-de-doo Review on arrival day, we have a day off mid-week to do Disney Quest and downtown Disney, and nothing planned for our departure day (leaving late afternoon). Because the parks close earlier that time of year I'm not sure if I have left enough time to tour the parks without being in a mad rush. I am planning on 2 days at MK and Epcot, and 1 day at DHS and AK.

If we decide we want to spend another day in the parks can I add a day onto our ticket at the discounted rate or would I have to pay a the full one-day price?

You will be able to add onto your tickets up to a total of 10 days at the discounted rate. Make sure you do this before you use the last day on your ticket. You would only pay a full day if you were buying a new ticket.

Thank you. That allows me to leave some flexibility in our schedule.

We did this with absolutely no problem a few years ago

We do this on a regular basis :) We always THINK we're going to spend days at the resort and not go into the parks, but the kids just can't stand it! Andrew says, "IT CALLS TO ME, MOM!!!"

As Johnie says, make sure you do it before you use the last day; however, if you forget - don't totally despair. Andrew absentmindedly used his final day when we were there a couple of years ago and was able to very politely talk the CM at the resort into adding an extra day at the discounted price. I wouldn't say ALL CM's would do it, but it never hurts to ask :)

Have a great time!

My rule: if one CM says no or doesn't understand, find another one.

Kind of like "If mommy say's 'no', ask Grandma"?

I know I could be in the parks all day every day, I'm afraid I'll wear my family out! Thank you all for your tips!

 good analogy. Some CM's are aware of things and how to do stuff that others do not seem to know. It applies in the parks and when you call as well.
