When you visit Walt Disney World, do you have a special moment when something just clicks and tells you that you are home.

It could be a smell, something you hear or even just seeing Cinderella's Castle that give you that big sigh.

What is your Disney moment that tells you, you are home?

When we drive on to Disney property and I see that gate welcoming me, I know I'm there!

Same as Donna :)

Also, finally getting on board the magical express... The red seats with gold and the music is just so Disney!

And your hair sticks to the back of your head and goes frizzy.:rotfl: Mine isnt the 'Main St' experience but the one when I first see the Sorcerer's Hat and turn right racing up to the ToT. Im home then...

The first time (and there are many) that I get happy tears.
It could be Wishes, Lion King, a parade, show.....the list goes on

Great question and I guess never thought about it until now. Yeah, guess that feeling at the airport before boarding the ME to the park. Usually go in the winter so that wonderful feel of the warmth and tropical smell..yeah that does it.

I sometimes feel it here while waiting for our school buses to arrive here at the museum in Virginia and we have a strong wind from the south. We get the same warm air with humidity and bright sunshine with the sun low in the sky for winter..so yeah that is it.

I love the feeling I get when I walk through the underpass in MK and come out onto Main Street. The sight of kids with balloons, the smells coming from the confectionary store and the popcorn stand and then the sight of the Castle coming into view is when I get that Disney feeling.
Of course I also like that feeling I get when I am walking around the World Showcase having a drink or two from various pavilions and listening to Off Kilter and The British Invasion/British Revolution doing their thing.

I can't say the airport because we never fly there!

Sometimes it's that first view of the castle. Sometimes it's that first Monorail ride. I've even felt it upon that first glimpse of the photo shop at the front gate of MK. (Disnerd, much?) But whenever I stay on-site, it's walking into that hotel lobby and feeling immediately immersed in everything Disney. The past two times I've been there, I haven't been able to stay on-site and I cannot WAIT to have that feeling again!
