I've just got tickets to see the Lion King musical in Plymouth next March :happydance: I have always wanted to see this but never got round to going to London and now it's so close there is no reason to miss it :D

Has anyone seen it, I'm really looking forward to it.

It's a BEAUTIFUL show, Wendy. I think you'll really enjoy it. Baleigh saw it on Broadway with a friend and raved about it so much I had to go see it! Easily one of my top two favorite Disney on Broadway shows.

Wendy it's absolutely fabulous. I've been to see it about 3 times and each time I've booked an aisle seat (not going to tell you why, it'll spoil the enjoyment) but I would recommend it to anyone.:yes:

I've seen some clips that were on the theatre's web site and I was completely covered in goose bumps  I can't wait.

Mags, I'm not in a aisle seat but I am very close to the front of the stage without having to look up :D

Seen it twice, once with Steven in the front row of the circle. Awesome!

I saw it a few years ago on a trip to London. We got last minute tickets and loved it!

It's coming to Birmingham soon, tempted to go but the price seems very expensive!

We saw it at the Kennedy Center here in D.C. a few years back.

Although "Phantom" is my all time favourite musical [seen it 4 times!], the Lion King comes a close 2nd.
We saw it in London a while back when we spent a few days down there due to a certain Mr. Clapton who was appearing at the Royal Albert Hall, and it is fabulous....you and Chris will really enjoy it I`m sure.

It was expensive for this part of the country, 60 a ticket, but when you take into consideration the cost of hotels and fuel to drive to London, it's a bargain.

I'm hoping Chris will like it, he's not one for the theatre.

This is why I always miss out on these things, having to book so far ahead feels a life time away and then by the time it comes, I wish I'd done it :/

Its a wonderful show - very clever how they have transformed it from screen to stage. You'll love it :D

oh just rub it in why don't you :surrender: you either need to invite me or wear a large floral hat into which you strategically locate a wifi webcam with an internet feed so I can watch from here

Is Leeds too far south for you then;) lol!

Can't decide whether to go see it on tour or in London for the *cough* 4th time

It's actually a bit more north from here than south but it's all the way to the right

Of the two, I'm sorry to say the hat is the most likely to happen! Not that I wouldn't invite you, mind, it'd be the "you showing up" part that would end it!

Did I ever mention the time Johnie and I had the backstage tour....

We saw Lion King several years ago. It is wonderful!! We were up on the cheap seats but it wasn't a bad view at all.

Keith, you must go see Wicked. It's my favorite.

We saw the Lion King when it was touring in Orlando at the Bob Carr Center. It has remained my favourite of all the shows we have seen. Within seconds of the opening scene I was teary eyed!
