What do you enjoy most about the Hoop Dee Doo or is it all about the overall experience?

oh you knew I'd bite at this one
It's not as good as it was sadly :(
Without going into too much detail, it's the overall experience. I mean the jokes are corny but the cast KNOW they're corny so they play with it. The food is probably the best of any dinner show I've been to (not that it's saying much!)
It's hard to say you'll be WOWed by any one component but as a fun, brain off evening dinner show experience, it's good

We love it just for the fun that the show is. I like the fried chicken and ribs and the fixin's that go along with it. I don't take advantage of the free alcoholic beverages here but I do enjoy my iced tea.

I just live the whole thing, I like the setting, I even like the adventure that is the journey to Pioneer Hall at FW! The food is good, and I like the way it gets dumped on the table! The show is fun too

This is one place that I always intend to try but so far I have never managed to go there.
I reckon I should give it a shot [hiding behind my camera like Keith though!]

I feel I've now mastered the "drunk, shy, tired, hiding behind camera definitely doesnt want to participate and wouldnt be a good choice" look now

Is it music? dancing? if so, what kind of music?

You're in a little town in the wild west and the only entertainment is these traveling bands who go from town to town. There's dancing, wise cracking and some tale telling all mixed with some good old fried chicken and ribs.
would it be good for little ones?
That's the thing that surprises me in a way. I didn't know if it'd be boring for them but apparently not because all you can hear especially when SixBits is on stage is laughter. I've seen more than a few little ones literally fall off their seats laughing.

Yes it's good for kids. They all seem to have a ball! Plus it's one of those places where you are encouraged to be loud and rowdy!
We always have a good time :-)

So I drink his share of the booze! LOL
I enjoy HDD because! It's fun, the food is decent, we've had the same server 3 or 4 times (she has since retired), John usually gets picked on and I get some great photos!
