When you go to World Showcase, do walk clockwise or anti clockwise.
We don't have a set in stone preference, if we come from The Land then we tend to go anticlockwise, otherwise it's clockwise. Chris doesn't care, whichever way gets him to the Patisserie in France the quickest is normally his answer

We always start from the left. :)
We go in whatever direction we please. Not always one way or the other. I do think we tend to turn right when coming in the IG and head for France first.

We're like Tink, we go in whichever direction we please.
We usually start on the Mexico side because we miss home... Nah!!
Usually we start on that side because we have an ADR for either a late breakfast or an early lunch at Akerhus

Always Mexico... It's the power of the Margarita that pulls me in that direction

Wow, never really thought if it, but yeah, guess we tend to go to Mexico first and then go clockwise. The last time we wanted to get to Canada first, and when we stayed at Boardwalk we would go to France first.

Which is usually left toward Mexico so I can get a Fiesta Margarita!

That much closer to the Margaritas!
We usually head left towards Mexico, as I am always in search of the Duck. This time though with my two youngest over 21 I have been told I am definitely heading left and that the Duck can wait until we have been to La Cava or the Margherita stand.:)
Mags
Mags, La Cava definitely over the margarita stand!

We still haven't done La Cava. Maybe in December.

In the 'old days' we would always go anti-clockwise and work around country by country, now though we tend to go back and forth depending on show times or ADR's etc. Since staying at the Boardwalk we sometimes now come in through the IG so that completely throws out tradition!

D'you know, I've never had one of the margaritas? We're headed to the Food & Wine Festival again this year though, and the food there is so tempting, we tend to miss the normal World Showcase stuff. Hoping to straddle the trip, so we get a few days after the Festival so we can enjoy Epcot a little quieter. And maybe that's my opportunity for a margarita!!

Couldn't agree more!
We typically go whichever way the wind blows us :) as long as it blows us towards a nice, cold drink :)

Am I the only OCD person on here...it's. COUNTER-clockwise, not anti-clockwise.
There...I feel better.

If it helps ease your OCD somewhat :) you need not stress, both are correct.
In Commonwealth English, anticlockwise is the correct usage, in North American English, counterclockwise is the more normal use.
Given we're all one big Disney family on here, either one is more than acceptable

F`rom now on it will be counter clockwise
I rather enjoy the unique differences between the two versions of English. Is it soda, pop, tonic, or soft stuff? All depends upon where you are from, eh?
Is it a lift or an elevator? Tights or stockings? A run in your stocking or a ladder in your tights? :D
I get a big kick out of the differences and learning them. I've actually used some as examples when teaching adults the importance of being sure one communicates clearly and understands what the other person is saying.

it depends what time i get to world showcase and where/what time i am eating. last trip i had a ressie for my birthday lunch at Teppan Edo for 230 and arrived at ws about 1130a. so i started in Canada and paced the time to get to Japan about 20 min before my ressie. another trip i had 6pm ressies for Le Cellier so my friend and i took the launch across the lagoon, got off near Germany and walked toward Canada...after dinner, we kept going around the lagoon toward mexico norway china, then got back to mexico in time to get a table and sit for Illuminations
so my direction is decided by plans
