My daughter Elizabeth, her husband David, and their three kids (Dakota - 17, Austin - 15, and Addisyn - 18 mos) are at Disney World. They just arrived yesterday and had a character meal last night at 1900 Park Faire.

It was there that Addisyn got to meet her very first princess, Cinderella (she calls her 'rella), and equally important, her very own Prince Charming! Thought you might enjoy a couple of pictures.

Also, it seems that after dinner, they were exploring the Grand Floridian a bit and while climbing the lobby stairs, Addisyn lost one of her "glass" slippers.

How magical is that. :pdust:

Tom (:macwave:... wish we had been able to go with them!)

She'll remember it forever! What lovely photos, Tom. Thank you so much for sharing their special time with us. It must be hard not to be there with them.

I'm hoping the weather is a little better for them as their days play out. It's truly too hot to do much outdoors other than swim.

Lots of sunburned bodies in the parks, but I know they will keep her covered in sunscreen!

Thanks everyone.

Tink, they're off to Blizzard Beach today. I voted for Typhoon Lagoon since I think it's better suited to Addisyn but hey, who wants to know what Grandpa thinks. Anyway, the boys will enjoy it. And yes, everybody is well greased up for the sun.

Yesterday they spent in the Magic Kingdom. Addisyn was extremely excited about seeing Mimmie Mouse. :D
And the Facebook posts about It's a Small World are the stuff legends are made of.

Tom (:macwave:... it's a world of laughter... oh well, you all know the words I'm sure. Sorry to have planted that in your brain on a Monday.)
