Brave Wins an Oscar for Best Animated Feature

At the Academy Awards ceremony last night in LA, the award for the Best Animated Feature went to Disney/Pixar's Brave.

The award made it three out of three for the film which has also won a Golden Globe and BAFTA for best animated film.

Im actually quite sad that Pirates didnt win. My dd is a massive film nerd as is my eldest son who has a film/music website and blog. I watched it at home with the family at Christmas and thought the animation was amazing. The detail was just fab. My daughter and her friends have been more than 'animated' in their disappointment that Pirates didnt win and I have to agree, I am too. For those of you who havent seen it, it is wonderful animated film and very funny too.

Brave was an okay movie, it's not my cup of tea, and I wanted Wreck-it-Ralph to win, but all's good, Disney deserves an Oscar (:
