I've been reading everywhere that a UK drivers license is no longer being accepted at Disney to prove age for alcohol or picking up tickets and things like that. They're apparently demanding a passport and saying that it's a recent policy change, does anyone know for sure? I really don't want to carry around my passport :(

would be good to get an official comment for sure, it's all over "certain other" forums ;-) and people are going insane about it (as usual)

I think one person has a problem and there's carnage! We have never been asked doe ID on Disney and Jon will always have a beer or some wine with dinner.

I have only been asked when using my AP to get a discount at Earl of sandwich.

I have no idea of course, but just wanted to mention that I always carry my passport in my work bag. I treat it as another form of identification. Sometimes you need two forms for some sort of thing or other (usually governmental matters, licenses that sort of thing). I just tucked it up in my work bag at one time and there it stays.

We used our photo cards from our driving licenses with no problems.

Sometimes if you can't get your pass to work on entering a park. My mum was notorious for this because of arthritis she couldn't get her finger on the scanner properly.

Oh when we used a travellers check in Target too.
