There is a Central Florida Zoo, yes.
They are open every day apart from Thanksgiving and Christmas Day fro 9am to 5pm. Adults $10.95 and 3 - 12 year olds $6.95
It is about a 35 minute journey by car from DTD.

If you have a car, there is however, a lovely zoo in Tampa too. The journey would take about an hour and ten minutes from DTD. I was really impressed with this zoo :p015: Entrance is $18.95 for adults and $14.50 for ages 3 -11.
They are open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas day from 9.30am to 5pm. They also have a small fairground for smaller children.

There is also Jungle Adventures which is about a 50 minute drive. $19.95 for adults and $10.95 for ages 3 - 11. Open every day from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
