me!! I have an iPad air and it's lovely! i zoom around the internet. I was surprised how much smaller in size it is but the screen is the same. It's also thinner and lighter so easier to hold and use as a reading device. I struggled with reading on my old iPad in the summer and had to lean it on something. The screen is as good as my iPhone 5 too. I tried the iPad mini (first one) but didn't like the downgrade in resolution from the iPad 3 i had. I've got use to IOS7 now thank goodness.

you just got the mini retina display didn't you?

yeah I have both but I must admit the air really is a huge upgrade over the "normal" ipad

I've been thinking about an iPad air for Chris for Christmas but he is still tempted by an android tablet

Just the size really! the mini is still a smaller/lighter package so perhaps easier to hold in one hand, book sized

The air is MUCH closer to the mini weight wise than before but it's still quite a bit larger (which is nice sometimes, text is larger on a website etc, but can be a little tiring at other times)

I was on a flight back from Aberdeen on launch day and I saw some lucky so-and-so using his iPad air. At first glance, I thought it was a mini, but then realised it was too big.

The iPad air is the best specced iPad they've released yet and I'm really tempted to buy one.

iPad every time - it has much more lasting appeal. Everyone I know who bought the Nexus are now "meh". Those who bought the uPad all still love theirs - some are even still on their first generation iPads!

If anyone is wanting to buy an ipad air, John Lewis are offering a free 3 year warranty and price matching Tescos with 30 off. You need to contact them via their never knowingly undersold policy if bought online and claim it back.

Yeah looks pretty cool. I see that it comes loaded with apps that were originally add on. iMovie, Garageband, Pages, Numbers and the power point like one come with it. That is good news. DD will be flipped out!
