Disney's Frozen that is....we are being saturated with commercials and trailers on TV here in USA. So yesterday as we are prone to do, we popped the Turkey into the oven and went off to see a movie (yearly tradition...one of these days our house will burn down!). This year's choice was Frozen. Let me just say I was a bit cynical with the comparisons to Disney classics and such. Happy to report I was totally off base...Frozen is wonderful. Captivating from the first scene to last. Please find some time to catch it!

I loved princess Anna so funny and such a modern take on a princess. Also loved that for a change the princesses didn't need anyone else to do the saving especially at the end where she stopped the guy from hitting the bad guy then punched him herself

Even the music was great

Well I just think it's equalising the balance at the moment. Hopefully it gets to the characters complimenting each others' skills and so saving each other equally :-)

Anyway, give me that other the ditzy old style any day ;-)

:-P awwww but you know, without being all boring, movies are important and I really do think we need better, more positive messages about gender, sexuality and, wonderfully from frozen, it's ok to be different. The next generation are watching these brilliant movies and though I think society is getting better, scratch a little and it's not hard to see the same old stereotypes and behaviours.

I think they do in a way, look at Flynn in tangled, he was saved from a bad life
