Cracker Barrel is my favourite! Warm biscuits with jelly straight from the oven! We also like Bob Evans, IHOP is ok too, I think like everywhere the location matters. We usually eat at the ones on the 192 because we use the Sherberth Road exit from AKL.

Oh Keith! It's not just a restaurant, they have an old time shop and rocking chairs to sit in while you wait for your table

I love iHop! They have a huge menu and even offer an egg substitute for their omelettes if you're counting calories.

Their omelettes are awesome.

On rare occasions I have used Bob Evans on 192 W, a short distance away from where Old Lake Wilson joins the 192....on the opposite side of the road though!

on the opposite side of the road though!

That's something that wouldn't be a problem anywhere else in the world apart from the 192! Crossing that thing's like an extreme sport!

Keke's is good. Bob Evans is, too. I will not eat at Cracker Barrel. Perkin's is very popular. Not a fan of IHOP. If you don't mind the drive, Winter Park!

bob Evans looks really nice!

We ended up trying Perkins and it was a nice breakfast. Quite a friendly little place by all accounts and nothing fancy but good food at good prices

Same at Bob Evan's. Definitely not fancy, but good food, and usually good service. Keep in mind though, that we don't frequent the restaurants near WDW, rather those that cater more to the "locals."

There is another chain restaurant... First Watch. I'm not a huge fan, but many, many people like it.

i like a good Perkins, used to go to one a lot on a Tuesday if Jon was away, they did kids eat free. We used to meet up with friends and eat for about $8 and I didn't have to cook!

If you like bagels, these are ok. Closest one to you should be at Dr. Phillips.

I didn't like Ihop, greasy and horrible, but that was just the one and only time we tried it though, did like Perkins's muffins... We eat at Golden Corral because it's cheaper and you get exactly the same bacon and eggs etc as you would if you were eating elsewhere imho.

We went to Perkins at Crossroads yesterday. Talk about. SLOW. But then so was The Wave today, but at least they comped my meal.

Sounds like a lot of people are recommending Perkins - what's their menu like for vegetarians?

Breakfast has lots of options, lunch and dinner are pretty much meat loaded though.

I hear lots of people recommending Sweet Tomatoes? for veggie friendly meal options, never been but someone on here or you yourself may know more about them.

I'm not a big breakfast person, a cup of coffee and a butter roll is my usual breakfast. However when I travel We like to eat at Cracker Barrel and IHop . I know that they are both very close to DTD.

I keep meaning to try them, but I just can't bring myself to order soup in Florida!

I love Sweet Tomatoes! They have a really big salad bar, 5-6 soups, breads and muffins, a couple of pasta dishes, baked potato and sweet potato and deserts.

I just read on another forum (sorry!) that there's a new place opened in Haines City call Egg City. It's pretty highly rated, might be worth a go if you fancy a drive.
