Happy new year everyone it's back to Disney for us this year :)

Right now, I'm reading 'Man on the Moon' by Andrew Chaikin. It's the story of the Apollo missions and inspired a mini-series produced by Tom Hanks.

Before that, I read the Hunger Games trilogy, which, despite having to be 'talked in' to reading, wasn't bad.

Penal Colony... got it free on the Kindle.... loving the freebie books so much catching up to do on books I've always wanted to read but haven't gotten around to.

It's about a penal colony (you don't say!) off Cornwall and it's very good. It's about prisoners who have been basically left to their own devices and they have set up clans who fight against each other trying to get the upper hand and one clan is plotting to get off the island.... I can't put it down.

I want to see if you cry at the last book :-P I still can't read it without being a bit teary and I actually did something I'd never done before and emailed the author.

Apparently the last book in Mortal Instruments due in may is going to be sad as well :(

It's one of those happy/sad/happy but sad type of endings

Hmm... Sounds like I'll have to pick up a copy. Should I start with the prequel?

Whew. I have a STACK of books by my bed. Right now I'm reading, "The Testament of Mary." It's post crucifixion, from the point of view of Mary. She does not believe or accept that her son was anything other than her son.

Reading The Moaning of Life by Karl Pilkington. I love this man, his sense of humour. He says a lot of what I think

i've read the first couple of chapters and so far yes, after reading all my uni stuff i'm a bit read out if that makes sense. He sounds like a fascinating and lovely man. Imagine having a hand in the building and opening of 11 disney parks. He also wrote the press release when Walt died.

That's another one I was looking at!

Right, that's it. We're starting a book club. Please send all books to me once you've read them... Especially those about Disney, Florida, NASA, Sex, Vampires and Theme parks. Thank you.

;) :D

You aren't alone Tony, I love reading books, there is just something about turning the pages.

Chris was going to buy me a kindle for Christmas but I said I wouldn't use it, so he saved his money and bought me some paperbacks

I am now reading Cleopatra and Anthony: Power, Love and Politics in the Ancient World by Diana Preston. It was in the bargain bin at Barnes and Noble but it's quite good.

Well, the only thing I am reading right now is a small fact book Little Know Facts about a Well Known Place (think that is its name). It is a Disney secrets fact book. Just light reading in the...ahem...library.
