 I love to see dogs swim, they always look like they are having the best time!

Is Willow just wiggling with abandon in the last shot? That's what our dog does on our bed when we aren't home. She thinks we don't know :rolleyes008:

 our dogs used to do that and it was usually a walk we went on just before I had to go to work so I had to shampoo them as quick as possible. They would look at me with 'those eyes' and I'd tell them "don't do the crime if you can't take the consequenses"

Nope it's Staines Moor. We have walked the dogs on the common but there are too many cows grazing and my parents dogs try to round them up.

Don't know how well you know Staines but you go half way down Moor Lane and there's a footpath over the railway tracks that lead to the moor.

Crooked Billet burnt down years ago.

OK thanks I know where that is - I might have to give that a try for our first attempt at Archie going in water, that pond looks pretty and not as scary as Virginia Water if he need retrieving.

I remember trying to navigate those cows at Shortwood Common when I was taking a shortcut to the fair there years ago!

It's not a pond, it's the River Colne.

Runs right through the moor. It's very shallow in places and even in the middle nephew Harry wades through it. Willow was a bit unsure at first but now she just dives straight in.

Ooh we tried Virginia Water once too but those mad setters kept vanishing in the woods so we had to give up. I may go back just with Willow though (lots of geocaches in there  ).

 I think it's got a bit of a sense of grandeur calling itself a 'River'

Going to look up caches at VW now :D

So then? What do you do with Willow and the Setters when you get home? Surely you don't let muddy wet dogs in to go runny mumples throughout the house?

The last bit of water they go in is clean enough to get the mud off and then they dry off a lot on the walk back to the cars.

Dog owners never have clean houses.
