Well we had the big move and little by little we are getting things put in their place. We still have a few things in the old house, so we are going back there now and then to pick a few things up. It is so weird how that can go from being your home/the place you love to someplace strange. I used to feel weird coming here to the new house and liked going back home and now I feel that way about this house. It is weird how fast your heart can move on so to speak. I get attached easily and it gets harder and harder to be in the old house as we take the last of our stuff out. I'll cry when we empty it, but that is just me. Katelyn has tossed her toys everywhere and is happy as a clam  She has had no problem sleeping and is loving the fact that she has complete freedom downstairs now. The nice part about moving is the ability to babyproof easily. So we have gates on the stairs and a few other odds and ends blocked, but other than that she is freeeeeeeeeeee. I don't know if Dakota is really happy about this. They are best friends now, but he isn't getting the sleep he used to get  They both pass out cold at the end of the day. Well Dh and I have a lot of work left to do and then we need to get started redecorating Katelyn's princess room, so I am off to bed.

I missed you guys :hug1:

Glad the move is going well Shelly - I hated leaving our last house, we bought it brand new and I found it very hard to give it to somebody else especially as the one we were moving into was a complete tip! I cried my eyes out handing the keys over

How is you DSIL doing?

Yes, it is a lot of work :rolleyes008: We are ready for it to be over. Long way to go yet, but it is coming along very slowly. I can only do so much, so it has been annoying for me to sit and watch a lot of the hard work going on.

My SIL is doing very well, thank you. It is going to be a long road for her, but she is moving along. They let her take a shower and took her outside for a bit, so she was very very happy with that. It will be a slow process.

Wonderful news!

You adapt faster than I do! I always seem to call the former residence "home" and the new one "the house" for a year or so after a move. Quite confusing when moving between states!

Glad your DSIL is improving. :)

:hug2: it's good to see you. You just remember that you do have a very important role. YOu can be chief delegator. You just tell everyone what to do

We're currently trying to get our house ready to go on the market. It's hard cleaning out a place you've called home... :hug2:

So true! I get more and more emotional each time we head over there. I will be a mess when we have to say goodbye to it. :p015:
