Im thinking of buying a couple of these for our next trip, has anyone tried them? any good or bad ones to avoid?

Do they plug into disney TVs so we could play dvds from home

I think they'd be suitable, as long as they have a scart of A/V cable.
Would it work though because of the PAL/NTSC thing?
Other than that, I can't se why it would work. Asda had DVD players for £10 the other day that where TINY, the size of a portable DVD player, and for that price you wouldn't feel bad if it got broken or something.

Not sure if there are compatibility issues, but if you take one, be sure to take any cables you might need to hook it up! :)

Good suggestion Taja.

We have gone through our first portable dvd players (they lasted 3 years and many many trips) and I won't leave home without mine if the girls are traveling with us. I think ours hook up to the TV, but not sure since I've never tried it. I've got all sorts of cords and cable sthat came with the dvd players...I'll have to see what's what here.

I went to all the Electronics websites and checked out the buyers response on some of the players. They helped me out a lot on choosing the one I finally decided on within my price range.
