My neice has been to WDW three times now. When she was looking through our photos the other day, she couldn't believe the ones we had from WS in Epcot of all of the entertainers in the different countries. The only one she had seen for herself was the drummers in Japan.
Do you make time to see the street entertainers? I know we do and it is one of my fave things to do at Epcot....in fact, it is my fave thing!
Which entertainer is your favourite?

We have seen most of them, but I actually have a printout now and I aim to see them all next year.
We love Sergio in Italy, my DS always gets chosen to help. I loved watching the candy lady in Japan - even if she was a bit scary
I tend to avoid the players in the UK through fear of being picked on.
I want to watch the full show of Off Kilter next year - they looked worth watching ;)
Oh we are the same! We love the different acts and shows in each country!
Some of our favorites are no longer there though. :(
The Serveur Amusant (certainly spelled wrong) in France is a favorite. There is a new "waiter" in that skit now, but the "guest" remains the same. It's always fun to watch this one, even if you've seen it before as the audience reacts differently each time.
Mo'Rockin is a real favorite of many too. However, when they don't have the Middle Eastern dancer with them, folks tend to walk on by. :dozey:
Some of the countries need to add some entertainment. Norway and Germany come to mind. They've fallen off in the past years.
Mexico's Mariache Cobre is incredible. They perform indoors when it is too hot. They always draw a crowd that participates by dancing and singing along. Fun stuff!
I think the World Showcase Players move from the UK to France and sometimes Italy, with variations in their shows along the way.
I love the Mexican entertainment.
The Japanese drummers are awesome too.
And the Christmas storytellers are the best ever. :D

Tink....the dancer with Mo Rockin'.....when we've been in the past, it was always the same dancer but, last year it had changed to a younger, sexier dancer....was the younger lady a stand in for the regular lady being on holiday or is the young lady there all the time now.
The are both in my video of Epcot...link below
I don't know Issy. I don't much pay attention to the dancer. :sorry: I get on my high (18 hands or so LOL) feminist horse and refuse to watch. Middle Eastern dancing was invented by women for women and I really dislike seeing it made into gawking for men. One of those opinions best kept to myself. :sorry: (SOOOOO sorry you asked, eh)? :sorry:

 not at all Tink....we all have our own opinions and it would be a sad and very bland world if those opinions were all the same.
I don't mind and actually quite enjoy watching her. In fact, if it were just the band, I'd probably walk on by!
Women can gawk as well. :D

We've seen all of them at least once. We now never miss the Japanese drummers. I had a dragon made for me by the Candy lady last time.
I like the Mariache band too, but DH isn't too keen on them.

Would I be cliche if I just copied Johnie's post?
LOVE LOVE Myuki (sp?) If you ever have the chance to "chat" with her...do. She's a fascinating woman.
I also enjoy, is it, The British Invasion? I think I enjoy *where* they play as much as *what* they play...
If you've not seen the new Canada movie in the WS, it's also worth seeing IMO...Martin Short hosts, and I thought it was really interesting and funny!

I have a funny story about the British Invasion. I was in the garden and out popped one of them and I exclaimed, "Look! It's a Beatle" and then "look! it's another Beatle!" i was pretty excited re-enacting "It's a Hard Day's Night" all by myself.
I don't know what the old Canada movie was like but the new one is great!

The only entertainment I find boring is the drummers in Japan! Although DH loves them
