Had a mooch around Worthing this morning. Boots are stacking their shelves with the 3 for 2 Christmas stuff. :D There are selection boxes appearing everywhere and Woolies have the Celebrations plastic bottles out.

So I nip into Wilkinsons for some dog biscuits and found myself browsing their stack of Christmas cards. They had some nice ones. My hand came within an inch of picking a pack up when I came to my senses and backed away muttering "not till December," over and over again.

That was a close one.

I was drawn the cards in BHS as well but I resisted :D

Did pick up some pressies though - loads of HSM bits for Caitlin half price in Disney Store and I thought of you Dawn - WHSmith had loads of really nice Mickey stationary half price - got myself a couple of notebooks for my lists

They are really nice - I got a black hardcover with a dangling Mickey book mark ribbon attached for 3.49 and two soft cover ringbound books for 2.49 each :p015:

I've heard on this morning's news that Christmas/Holiday shopping (perhaps better said as spending) is expected to be at an all time low. (All time since when, they didn't say).

Could make for some excellent sales, eh?

ooh I hope so... I like sales.. nothing better to make you stop feeling guilty on over-spending on something, because it has a 'sale' tag on. LOL

"well... its 50.. but it WAS 100.... I'll buy it!"

That was a close one.

Phew!! You lucky lucky girl. You made it out without one single Xmas item? :tongue0011-1: Avert your eyes for two more months and then on the 26th and 27th of Dec, hit the shops and buy the cheap cards. I would have gone for the celebrations though - that was very silly of you. Every girl need chocolate! :p015:
