Disney is expecting record numbers of guests to try to get to the iconic club before it shuts its doors finally later this month.

Since the club's main rooms have limited capacity, Disney are testing projecting the Balderdash Cup & the Hoopla out in the Main Saloon at the very same time that these live stage shows are being presented in the Library

Why do all that when they plan to end it all next weekend?

surely this underlines the fact that it really shouldn't be going - very sad - probably my happiest night at Disney ever was at the adventurers club

Huge contingent of folks (CMs and local folks alike) are totally opposed to the closing of this club. :sigh;

Disney has already had extra security put on there. They were stopping people from handing out flyers announcing the closing of AC and asking for letters and email petitions.

Not a good thing. Hoards of people who are upset scare me. :(

I signed an online petition a while back - see if I can dig out the link somewhere

If you have to watch it on a video, does that not take something away from the atmosphere of the place?

I hope we don't have to re-think this - but like Tink, I'm not sure I like the idea of hordes of people! :rolleyes008:

Do they do more than one show a night? Perhaps if you ent to the earlier one? :unsure:

I just know what I've learned from the real die hards (that they are showing up in force). I don't mean to detract from your holiday. :(

We were kind of figuring that it would be crazy... I'm still clinging to the hope that Disney will come to their senses and reopen AC somewhere else..

Not detracting at all, Tink...I'd much rather be informed then to arrive and be miserable...

To me the video would just NOT be the same as being in the room with the performers.
