We like CSR for the beautiful grounds. There is a lovely beach with hammocks. We used to go for a romantic walk around the lake at night. :D

Another vote here for Port Orleans...either side really, IMO, but I do like French Quarter the best...

I thought POR was very romantic in the evening around the mansions when I was walking on my own to get hot chocolate in the evening
It was also lovely and quiet there in the day time especially down by the marina with the music playing, you can hire a boat out from there.
The horse drawn carriage ride in the evening is lovely too. :)

While there is a lot to be said for Caribbean Beach being romantic I would have to choose the Mansions of Port Orleans Riverside. :p015:

PORFQ is my recommendation. As others have said, pretty grounds, nice lookng resort, carriage rides, lovely trails for a stroll.
Has anyone hear heard the recent "rumors" about the bed bugs reportedly at Port Orleans?
It is a lovely moderate, but then I like all three.

POFQ looks so romantic in the dark with the cobbled streets and street lights. Lovely down by the river too.

And of course Port Orleans has Piano Bob!!!
I was too when I heard about it. It wasn't an official source, per se, but Disney can hardly be expected to advertize, eh? :(
Apparently at least one family found bedbugs in their hotel room. Disney took immediate care of the entire situation, but still...
I have to stay in hotels a lot for work. I am already OCD about the way things have to be in them, so this just increased those requirements!

Another vote for Port Orleans . I think Riverside is more romantic than French Quarter but thats my own personal opinion . The horse & carriage ride in the evening around the mansions is lovely .
Sister Tink, I have heard of the bed bug problem . I also have OCD . When we stayed at Country Inn & Suites . The first thing I did was pull the sheets back . LOL Never thought of WDW resorts having that issue . Although I should know they are not prone , eh .
NYC has had big time problems .

My friend carries lysol and clorox wipes where every she stays and cleans the whole place. I can't say I am any better. :chores026: That's just gross... clean thoughts, clean thoughts.
