*sigh*

it was inevitable

Matthew is now obsessed. Not sure he actually understands any of it, sure I don't butr he started watching Pokemon Battle Dimensions on Jetix last week. I actually saw his pupils dilate, his mouth drop open and love blossom.

I obviously helped out by buying Smash brothers battle dimension on the wii so he can play Pikachu and beat me up.

He also constantly wants me to 'hold him and be him' - to anything in his toy box that looks like a pokemon.

How long will this last?

Steven's pokemon phase lasted about 3 days. :D

That's a good question for Karen (kazzaqld)! Her Gareth is a huge Pokemon fan. Older, different level, but the passion probably began early.

Good luck!

Luckily we seemed to have missed the Pokemon craze. :D Over the years Daniel has had obsessions with Beyblades, Waps, wrestling chips, Match Attack cards and at them moment it's gogos :rolleyes008:

Give me HSM and Hannah Montana anyday - I can relate to those

It's Ben 10 and Lego Star Wars in our house at present.

Matthew has all the Gogo's he is especially prod of his Fist limited colour jobbie - Ben 10 has taken a backseat and we are still awaiting the Ben10 AlienForce cartoon he used to watch on youtube before they took it off for copyright laws.

The Secret show , has now come and gone which leave me with a stupid geocache name

Pokeman lasted a couple of months here. Then she got bored with it.....or maybe she discovered boys....I can't remember.

But, then again Mike's lasted about 3 years  Wait till he wants to start with the stupid trading cards :rolleyes008:

We did that with Steven's Star Wars obsession. Got him some awesome pictures for his bedroom. They look a bit strange mixed with the Ben 10 posters though.

We went through it about 9 years ago. I hated that cartoon. Very bad dubbing. But i loveeeeed his gameboy game. I became obsessed and would win a battle at any cost. The best Pokemon ever was Jigglypuff.

Mine lasted a good few years! LOL
I think I have some old Pokemon cards somewhere (unless they've been thrown out) that he'd be welcome to. They are the original Pokemon though, which he may not like, when there was only 151!

Gareth visited Mecca on Friday - the Pokemon Center in Tokyo!

I'll post a pic of him with Pikachu on Friday - I wish I had a picture of the look on his face!

He didn't buy much, just gaped!

Just the new Pokemon Platinum game - or is that Pratinum

It's in Japanese but a true devotee doesn't care - although he did get some help from our Japanese friend when we saw her. He also got a pressed penny, a keychain, and some DS gamecard holders.

It may last a few years yet Chris! He has been a fan since he was small.

 It's really an addiction. I never go anywhere now without checking what caches are on route. Always have gloves, pen and a small swap with me at all times. :7:

I found Poppy's Pokedex toy from how ever many years ago at the weekend. Still works perfectly but I've no idea what it's supposed to do!
