Thank goodness for Dave. But i was going to say, Surely crayons are like hamsters. When their owners are away and a "terrible" mishap occurs. You just replace and pretend like nothing has happened.

Only problem with that is Helly scratched her initials on each crayon before she went.

So you're going to be pretty busy scratching her initials on the new crayons before she returns, aren't you?

Steven
23-09-2008, 10:05 PM
I hope your going to replace them before she gets home.. I am off to nearby waters on Friday.. I may have to go and tell her!!!!!!

Tink
23-09-2008, 10:10 PM
OK. Here's the plan. We get new Crayolas, AND those jazzy new metallic kind that work great on black paper (well it is coming up Halloween, you know).

Then we get those sharp little scalpels (is that how it's spelled) from Himself and get to work!

She'll never know!

Taja
23-09-2008, 10:27 PM
Terrific plan, Tink!

When are we gathering for the party?

Jimminey
24-09-2008, 12:08 AM
Tinker has a new box of Crayolas . Have no idea why you need them, but it seems important .

Tink
24-09-2008, 02:13 AM
OK. That's one box. I've got a nearly new box, and a box of the metallic ones.

We'll need at least...geez, I don't know! :( How many more WILL we need?

Tinker
24-09-2008, 04:07 AM
OMG, you did what Claire !!! I'm hiding . Yup, you can have my new crayons, Sister Tink & I too the rescue . I have a new box with 96 colours . Will That Work ?

Dawn
24-09-2008, 06:10 AM
I think 96 should do it. None of the paper is torn is it? And there must be no teeth marks.

Skywatcher
24-09-2008, 06:39 AM

Dawn

Crayola has gone on holiday to Mexico and she left Claire in charge of the crayons. Claire clearly was not up to the job and now there's a wrath to be felt somewhere.

Tink
24-09-2008, 12:22 PM
Well! Well! You can hardly blame Claire for what the dog did! Who knew he was a Crayola muncher!

 I was thinking the same thing.....

I had also wondered why Dave had joined..... ;)

Tink
24-09-2008, 12:48 PM
Well, Crayola left Claire in charge of the Royal Crayola Crayon Collection. Something seems to have gone wrong and Dave the Dog apparently has dined on the crayolas.

We now have a very short time to collect new crayons and get them initialed before Crayola returns. :sigh;

I think 96 should do it. None of the paper is torn is it? And there must be no teeth marks. Ok, we are set , no teeth marks, no tips broken and paper is perfect . Now, I found another box in the attic , 64 colours, but the tips are worn down a bit , and torn paper . Used them when I was teaching . You can have the ones that are still good .

Skywatcher
