Dinner you can choose off the menu or the all you can eat skillet which if I remember rightly had chicken, sausage, pork, ribs, potatoes. DH really liked it - I ordered off the menu as I don't eat red meat. The kids can also have a childs skillet or there is a separate childs menu. It is a lot of fun:)

Tell them you are really, really thirsty!
We like the skillet for breakfast and dinner.
Its a fun place to eat but the food and atmosphere can be a bit hit and miss. It really depends on who you get as a server as some join in the fun and antics more than others. I wasnt keen on going back for a third time but my 16 and 18 yr olds insisted. Good grief, the place was a mad house. The noise was crazy but the fun was awesome and the kids were having a ball.
Make sure they dont try and seat you in the back part of the restaurant because you are away from all the fun there. We waited until seats became available and sat in the main area. My two love the place and I know when we go back again we will have to go. This time I think I will invest in ear plugs.
BTW we always have the skillet. The corn bread is delicious. I was disappointed that they had done away with the sausages and our server told us that very soon the shrimp is going to be replaced by brisket.

That's my problem with the place, Mags. It's simply too noisy. I expect to be able to converse and interact with my dinner companions. It's far too loud and chaotic there to do that with much success. I didn't care for the food much either. We've only been the one time and that was years ago. (More than five).
I know Tink, it is crazy, isnt it? Somehow i had myself mentally prepared this time. lol I think I enjoyed it this time because the kids were laughing so much and loving the fun, even though they are far too old to join in. The skillet was much better than last time too, so that was a bonus. If it was my choice I wouldnt go. I find Crystal Palace mad enough and dont enjoy going there much but I did (in a strange way) enjoy the fun this time. Everyone seemed to be in such a good mood and there was a lot of laughter.

The shrimp was mealy...yuck.
Ours was pretty good the day we were there. Dd only eats shrimp dipped in mayonnaise so I left her to get on with it. :p015: The piece I tasted was fine. But the noise, the noise......:shocked025:

 that's Alysia's favorite part. I prefer the parts where my friend has to ride a stick pony around the restaurant singing Happy Birthday to herself  ;)
