best day for dc

Don't think it really matters as they only allow 100 guests a day I thought. I'm pretty sure it was at or very near capacity when we went in october and it didn;t seem busy at all - there was no wait for breakfast or lunch and you could get a sunlounger anywhere. The only time there was a bit of a queue anywhere was for the photographs at the end of the day and even that wasn't bad.

we went slap-bang in the middle of the high season, July, and it seemed empty. It was fully booked, too

We have never found it busy and always go on a Sunday knowing that it is a busy day for parks so we might as well be somewhere relaxing.

We were there when it was at full capacity in July, but it never felt busy or crowded. I think that’s why it’s such a lovely day. The place feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the other parks.
