DD is really interested in this, are there any experts on here?
I know there are starter lanyards for pins but is there a nice way to start collecting these pennies?

they are everywhere, there is a website that tells you where they are too, will go look see if i can find it for you
you buy pressed penny wallets too to put them in :D
There are books available for pressed pennies and pressed quarters.
The pennies are 51 cents each (penny plus two quarters to feed the machine). The quarters are $1.25 each (quarter to press and four quarters to feed the machine). I think the books are around $7 each.
Definitely not an expert. I collect a few--usually something comemorative of the year or current celebration and some Mickey and Minnie pennies. It really just depends on if I like them! Typically two or three each visit. :)

My kids were really into these when they were younger. Seems as they've gotten older the thrill is gone a bit (makes me sad). But yes, the machines are everywhere! Resorts included.
