Pleasure island is no more so we re looking around for other things to do, has anyone been to jellyrolls?
How late does it stay open and is it a good atmosphere?
I believe Jellyrolls is open until 1 or 2 a.m.
I've only been in there once, with some members from another board. If I remember correctly, it is a venue that permits smoking.
Comparing it to the AC, which is the only other club I've been in at WDW, Jellyrolls is louder--well, dueling pianos would be, wouldn't they?--and alcoholic beverages are more a part of the culture. At least that's my conclusion based on some behaviours. Could be totally off base and people just having fun!
I really enjoyed the performances, but it's a bit too loud for me. But I'm a senior citizen who enjoys a quieter atmosphere. :)
Jellyrolls was open and the smoke was wafting out the open door this weekend. I hate the smell of cigarette, cigar and pipe smoke so I'd not be one to go in there regardless of how much fun it seems to be.
Atlantic Dance had a no cover charge event going on too.

We've been to jellyrolls a couple of times
Neither time had much of a great atmosphere to be honest. I think it would need to be a busy night and I'd need to go there with a group at the end of an evening on which I'd had a few drinks before I got there
I liked the idea of the place better than the actual place, I guess that's the best I could say
(actually it felt a bit like there were "regulars" in there and I was the outsider)
There was one other thing for me--I felt very comfortable solo at the AC, but don't think I would want to leave Jellyrolls solo close to closing. I believe they will provide an escort, if you request. I was with others, so it wasn't an issue that visit, but I do many things solo. I need a certain level of confidence that I will be safe, which I have at WDW, for the most part.
