Disney Again Day 6

[Shogun]

Tuesday 16th September

Having had a very long day yesterday our itinerary was to go to Typhoon Lagoon today.
Liz and I arrived soon after opening (10am). We had already decided on a very lazy day so we rented our locker and towels and then selected our sun-loungers. After about ½ an hour in the sun it was time to use some energy on the lazy river.

We went all the way round and back to where we started from.
Then a drink from the bar before lunch.

Caught a few waves in the main pool.

before getting lunch from the kiosk nearby. Turkey leg for me and pretzel with cheese dip for Liz.

Made a mistake with the cheese dip and ordered too many. You really only need one as they are quite big.

As we were having a very lazy day we ignored the slides but we did go for another lap of the lazy river. And when we got too hot we cooled off in the waves.

They can be quite scary as they rush towards you and you are looking up at the top of the wave and you cant see over it.

Oh yes. I did have the waterproof camera with me. LOL

Ice-cream before setting off back to the villa.

Evening spent in and around the pool at the villa.

I've not been to a water park either. Those waves look worse than some I've seen in the Atlantic! :eek:
