Phoning the US from the UK?

Does anyone have the magic numbers to phone the US phone lines from the UK?

Also are there any cheap ways to do this? Ive never bothered in the past but its adding up now because of all the ADRs that need making these days

If you are with BT you can call 0844 972 9700 (I think it's 2p a minute via that route) then
