Is the scifi diner still easy to get into?
Is it a proper meal or just a burger and coke kind of place?

We had light snacks/drinks there last week...
The restaurant was quite busy, however we had an ADR so I can't speak to how easy it is to get into on a whim.
The food was fine, nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. Jon and I shared the spinach/artichoke dip and had a few drinks. (I can highly recommend the Comet  )
The two best things about the experience were a) the atmosphere...it truly is a "neat" place with brilliant theming (just keep in mind the way the "cars" are set up does not necessarily lend itself to comfortable conversation  ) and b) the service...our server was absolutely LOVELY...she took care of all our needs and was pleasant and personable.

I still have a crick in my neck!
It's certainly not upscale food by any means but it is a fun place to have a burger.

Go for the themeing not the food - it was fine but it's not gourmet by any stretch.
Agree with Becca - our servers were great and it was really fun!
