how to tip?

maybe over worrying but I dont want to be embarrassed when I get there. Do you just tip with cash or do you add the money to the credit card slip? or is there some other way and what is the right %? I hear people say they double the tax or something?

If you pay with a credit card there will be a line for you to enter the amount of the tip. This doesn't mean you MUST leave one, though it is customary to leave between 15 and 20% depending on the service and that is on the price of the food and beverages only, NOT the tax. Also you may leave cash if you wish.

Doubling the tax in most parts of Florida will mean a tip of about 12%.

If you double tax around here, it might only be a 8 or 9% tip.
