Calling all iTouch experts.

I'm thinking of putting this on my Christmas list but I heard that there are some limitations to what you can see when web browsing. Is it true that it doesn't support web pages that need flash or some other application? I read somewhere that this seriously limits the amount of websites that you can view successfully.

Any thoughts?

i don't tend to use mine for the internet very often, i find it too fiddly in the house wirelessly so only use it at the airport, in hotels etc when there is free wireless and i just tend to check emails etc.

The criticism is overstated to be honest.

I use the iphone all the time (same as ipod touch) and its the very best web browsing phone there has ever been. There doesnt exist a better phone/device out there at the moment (until you get to larger things like mini laptops)

Yeah.

It's sites with flash that normally don't work, excluding youtube - the iTouch has a special application for it.

I generally don't have ANY problems viewing anything on mine, obviously flash doesn't work on it, but for me, most of the time, it simply means that there are no flash ads to see!
Youtube works on it, though

Thanks for the advice all. I have had my iTouch for 6 days now and I love it!
