What was the first album you can remember buying? where it be vinyl, cd, whatever :)

Mine was one of the now thats what I call music ones but I cant remember the number :lol:

Then I think the next one was abba

I remember we were in Margate and i bought it in Woolworths!!

It's a toss up between Parallel Lines by Blondie or Dare by The Human League. I think I bought them close together but can't remember which one first.

My first purchase was a vinyl copy of Blondie's Eat to the Beat. I was in elementary school, lol.

Herbie Mann's "Our Man Flute" ca. 1962-63. Can't remember which year it was. Still have it, but one edge is a bit wavey. :eek: That's what happens when you live in a warm climate and forget to remove them from the turntable! :rolleyes:

That was my one and only until I was at university. Bought an Aaron Copland album--and still have that one. In much better condition, thank goodness! :lol:
