DD Kelli, DGD Bria, my very good friend Bonnie and her little toot Sadie, decided to take a trip up to the mountains and just spend a few hours enjoying each others company.
We stopped in at the Buffalo Cafe and had the GIGANTOR Buffalo Nachos, onion soup (no, I didnt' touch that), and the girls had Chicken strips and homemade chips!
After lunch, we headed up and found this really pretty place to just walk and talk!
Here are some pics taken with my handy dandy Canon Rebel XT SLR.
I found out I needed one of those shade thingies (such a techy type person).

How beautiful! Thank you so much, Bev. It's been a long time since I've been in a place that experiences a true winter.

Looks like a very nice day was had by all of you!

Aw Bev, making me want to go back to CO for a visit. My DW will be going next summer to see her twin sister in Boulder. Maybe I could tag along with her. :p

I've only been through Colorado (driving from California to NY one winter) and it is a drop dead gorgeous state, even with the most incredible amounts of snow!

The Rocky Mountains are beyond majestic.

The nachos....the chips were tri-colored...red, black, and regular. Topped with buffalo meat, olives, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, CHEEEEEEESE, onions, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, really yummy. It feeds 3 - 4 people.

The photos turned out really cool. I loved the ice that looks like bubbles!
