Ive been to town to try and get a decent rate for some dollars and there isnt one :(
I thought travellers checks would be the same rate but theyre even lower? is that always how it is?

Thanks skywatcher, nor do I. It was at thomas cook on the high street and she was quite unhelpful and said I was lucky to get the deal she was offering (1.67 on dollars and 1.58 on checks) :confused:

Whenever I have bought from M&S the rate has always been the same for TC's and dollars :confused:

Did the TC rate include the TC purchase fee or was it separate?
Can you check with your bank and see what they offer--just as a comparison?
